Eastfield Shed
Ivatt Class 4MT 2-6-0 43000 at Eastfield, after a visit to Cowlairs Works, in December 1965. When new to the LMS this class pioneer had an ugly double chimney but, due to poor performance, this was fairly quickly replaced and most of the class were constructed with single blast pipes, which improved draughting.
