Cattal
Former Scotrail 3 Coach Turbostar 170460 readies to depart Cattal with the 16.12 ex York to Leeds via Harrogate service. Of note is the substantial semaphore signal structure, with both Home and Distant signals, that protects the adjacent level crossing. The line is clear for the unit to head towards Knaresborough, with a colour signal in the far distance near Whixley gated crossing showing a green aspect. The miniscule signal box still sits at the platform end.
