Bendor Level Crossing

The line from Alnwick to Cornhill was built to last. Many of the buildings do, but passenger trains were withdrawn on 22 September 1930. After flood damage closed the middle section of the line in 1948, goods services continued south from Ilderton until 1953 and north from Wooler until 1965. This is Bendor Level Crossing 'box looking towards Wooler in 1991.
