Helmshore
An early postcard of Ravenshore Viaduct, just to the south of Helmshore station. An Aspinall 2-4-2T in full L&YR livery is climbing the gradient from Stubbins Junction with a passenger train heading towards Accrington. Note the curious short vehicle behind the engine. The skew arch viaduct still crosses the River Ogden but this view is obscured by trees nowadays.
