Leyland
An unidentified Class 25 using the Down Slow from Euxton Junction towards Leyland station in the summer of 1975. The train was made up of loaded 16T mineral wagons from Bickershaw Colliery to Fleetwood Power Station. Fleetwood Power Station closed in 1981. Bickershaw became a 'super pit' in 1976, although it only lasted until final closure in 1992. Until October 2021, two 'Railcams' at Leyland covered this stretch of track between the two bridges.
