To the right are the short bays (now part of platforms 5 & 6) used at that time to stable locomotives involved in sleeper duties, with 90039 awaiting its next turn. A contender for the most helpful notice award is suspended directly over the buffer stops, reading ELECTRIC TRAINS STOP, while the nearer example reads ELECTRIC TRAINS MUST NOT PASS NEXT STRUCTURE.
