Polmadie Shed
An unexpected development following dieselisation of East Coast routes in the 1960s was the transfer of several A2/3 Pacifics to Polmadie. They didn't seem to prove too popular, however, and were fairly soon withdrawn from service. One was 60512 'Steady Aim', seen here stored at the back of Polmadie shed in April 1965.
