Melrose

The distinctive platform-level features of Melrose station are captured in this 21st June 2021 view from the west. The building was designed in 1846 by the renowned Scottish railway engineer, John Miller, and, as noted in the Disused Stations web site, 'looked more like a country mansion than a railway station'.
