Auchinleck
A BRCW Class 27 draws away from Auchinleck, with a northbound coal train, on 30 August 1974. An 08 shunter can just be seen in the station. I was curious about the presence of a shunting locomotive here and conclude that it worked the branch to High House Colliery which curves off to the distant right, closed in 1983
