Abernethy Road

66746 leads a 'Royal Scotsman' excursion to Keith through the cutting between Newburgh and Abernethy on 2nd August 2021. When the Ladybank to Perth railway was being constructed around 1848 there was briefly a temporary terminus here, before the line was completed and a through station constructed in Abernethy village.
