Carlisle

Black 5 45228 takes over the 8.37am Glasgow – Sheffield relief at Carlisle Citadel on Tuesday 3rd August 1965. Britannia 70045 'Lord Rowallan' had brought the train from Glasgow, with 44901 being added as pilot at Dumfries, not that it was needed - it must have been simply to save a southbound path. The two locomotives are reversing through the station on their way to Kingmoor.
