Bathgate Upper
With an appropriately setting Sun, the Branch Line Society railtour of 16th October 1965 paused at the closed station of Bathgate Upper while returning to Glasgow. Here GNSR no. 49 Gordon Highlander was pictured during a short burst of early evening sunshine, after a day of mostly dull weather. This was the last outing for the locomotive before retirement to the Glasgow Transport Museum. 16/10/65
