St Leonards Tunnel

The west portal of the 1831 St Leonards Tunnel in 2008 looking towards Duddingston Junction, with the site of the former Edinburgh and Dalkeith terminus 400m behind the camera. The red object protruding above the bridge parapet is the top of a Victorian hexagonal Penfold pillar box (replica) standing on Holyrood Park Road.
