Morningside Road
Mondays to Fridays, the 2105 Cross Country service from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh Waverley is, I believe, the only scheduled passenger train to use the Edinburgh suburban line and is booked to pass Craiglockhart Junction at 2204. On the longest day of the year, 21st June 2021, there was just enough light to catch the tail end of the train, formed of two Voyager units, as it passed through the remains of Morningside Road station. Anyone intending to use this train to get a trip round the
'Sub' should note that if it is running late it will be sent direct from
Slateford to Waverley via Haymarket.
