Finsbury Park
700141, with a Thameslink service to Horsham, arriving at Finsbury Park on 15th May 2021. This service began in 2018 with the belated opening of the Canal Tunnels linking the ECML to the MML north of Kings Cross. Its a pity that Finsbury Park is the only suburban station on the ECML that Thameslink services through the Canal Tunnels stop at. One would have thought some of the other more important stations on the ECML, e.g. Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City, would have warranted a Thameslink service to ease congestion caused by changing at Finsbury Park. There is no Thameslink service round the Hertford North Loop neither.
