Cumbernauld

The twice a week ICI Soda Ash block train from Larbert to Wallerscote climbs towards Cumbernauld behind Standard 9F 2-10-0 92223 on 31st May 1967. No Scottish-based steam locomotives remained active after the end of April 1967, but this was one of a small number of cross-border workings that continued for a few months, using locomotives working out of Carlisle Kingmoor.
