Glasgow Central
Royal Scot 4-6-0 46115 'Scots Guardsman', about to leave Glasgow Central with the Friday/Saturday only 2pm express to Liverpool on 30th July 1965. Only two engines of the class remained in service that summer, and this was I believe the final appearance of a Scot on a service to Liverpool or Manchester, a duty regularly undertaken by the class over many years.
