Roxburgh Viaduct

View from the footpath alongside the River Teviot at Roxburgh on a summer afternoon in 2013 looking south towards the viaduct. The impressive structure, which once carried the line across the river between Kelso and Roxburgh, finally closed to all rail traffic in 1968. Note the low level footbridge, supported on the viaducts extended cutwaters.
