St Johns Junction
The RCTS Scottish Lowlander photographed during its stop near St Johns Junction, Glasgow, on 26 September 1964. The railtour had started from Crewe and arrived here via the WCML, Waverley Route, Edinburgh Sub and E&G. 60009 Union of South Africa had taken over the train at Niddrie West and would continue on the return journey as far as Carlisle (running via Kilmarnock and Dumfries).
