Elmers End [Tram]
Tram 2556 just arrived at the terminus at Elmers End, on 10th November 2012. From here to just before Sandilands stop, Croydon trams run along the course of a heavy rail line and Elmers End provides an interchange with National Rail's Charing Cross to Hayes line. Trams on the Croydon system no longer carry route numbers.
