Montfode Fuel Depot Sidings
Thursday 18th February 2021 and with the bi-directional electrified line still out of use, the appropriately named 68 002 Intrepid proceeds cautiously wrong line north from Ardrossan to Hunterston with the flask train on the non-electrified freight line. Unusually, 68 006 Daring is at the rear. The train is usually double headed. This is the first train north of Ardrossan since Friday 5th February. Passenger train services have yet to resume. (The location is south of the former Montfode Fuel Depot.)
