Charlestown Buffer
The bufferstops at Charlestown looking the worse for wear, but not as a result of contact by a train! It was not clear if this was through vandalism or simply corrosion although it looks more like the former. Given the lack of any maintenance for decades and ongoing corrosion it is perhaps surprising they lasted intact for so long.
