Barry Docks
Looking as though they could still be stabled on shed, BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4Ts 80135 and 80079 keep each other company whilst awaiting their fate in the sidings at Dai Woodhams Barry Scrapyard in 1966. Both were under 15 years old when withdrawn. There was a happy ending for both, as, like many others, they were bought for preservation, with 80135 now based on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and 80079 on the Severn Valley Railway.
