York

A Liverpool bound TransPennine 185 rounds the curve into platform 4 at York station shortly after crossing the bridge over the River Ouse on a sunny afternoon in the spring of 2010. This platform is used only by westbound trains off the Scarborough line and, some 200 yards further south, at its junction with the ECML, it becomes platform 3 (see image 35530).
