Galashiels
A ScotRail DMU photographed shortly after leaving Galashiels station in September 2015 heading for Edinburgh via the Waverley route. Meantime, approaching in the background, is a First Bus no 62 on the reverse journey, although in this case having travelled via Peebles, a route also served by rail in times past.
