Emerson Park

710107 calling at Emerson Park (no longer a 'Halt') with an Upminster to Romford service on 6th October 2020. The line was opened by the LT&SR in 1893 but Emerson Park did not open until 1909. In the 1970s, this line was almost closed and converted into a busway but was saved and is now electrified. The Bombardier Aventra units recently entered service on this short single-track branch line which became an isolated part of the London Overground network on 31st May 2015, hence the orange-style version of the famous LT roundel.
