Royal Oak South Junction

View from a train shortly after rejoining the Yorkshire Coast line at Royal Oak South Junction after coming off the branch from Filey Holiday Camp. The train is the 1132 (SO) Scarborough - Hull and the date is thought to be 27 August 1977, the Saturday prior to closure of the branch. The signals protect the southern approach to the junction, with Royal Oak South signal box just off picture to the right.
