Crooklands Wharf

Crooklands Wharf, alongside the now disused section of the Lancaster Canal, still has a section occupied by the local coal merchant. Two sidings from the Gatebeck Tramway allowed coal and other supplies to be transhipped and taken from here to Gatebeck Powder Works along the valley of the Peasey Beck.
