Carlisle Upperby Shed
An array of steam power at Carlisle Upperby in February 1963, as Black 5 44902 passes with a short local freight. Visible, in whole or in part, are rebuilt Patriot 45532 'Illustrious', Stanier 8F 48731, Midland 3F 44399 and Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 46432. Further back, one can spot a stored Princess Royal and a sign of things to come in the shape of an English Electric Type 4 diesel.
