Gospel Oak
The street level entrance to Gospel Oak, as rebuilt in 1955 by BR London Midland Region and part of London Overground since 2007, on 21st August 2020. The platforms are on a high embankment and there are many steps. For decades passengers grew weary climbing these but relief came at last in recent years when the platforms were lengthened across the road bridge (on right) and lifts installed.
