Ballynahinch Viaduct

Ballynahinch Viaduct, just west of Ballynahinch Station, the first station on the branch after Clifden. The viaduct is being restored as part of the Connemara Greenway, which will see the restoration of much of the line as a cycleway. The section immediately east of Ballynahinch Station is already open. The line was only operational between 1895 and 1935. 8 March 2020
