Courtmacsherry
Courtmacsherry station on 30th June 2020. The station building survives in good condition as a private house. The car is roughly on the trackbed of the platform line, which continued to the harbour immediately beyond. The Timoleague and Courtmacsherry Extension Light Railway opened from Timoleague in 1891, and while regular passenger services ceased in February 1947, goods services and passenger excursions to this popular seaside resort continued until closure on 31st March 1961.
