A Down Azuma had just ripped through Longniddry station (the warning is still on the board) when the 1400 from Waverley to King^s Cross had its turn to disturb the peace. Fun fact: in Scotland platform 1 usually means the Edinburgh or Glasgow direction whether that is Up or Down. Not so on this stretch of the ECML. Well, it was fairly fun.
