Pickering
Just west of the junction with both the Malton line, and the Forge Valley line from Scarborough, lies the final structure on the line from Gilling East. This is Goslip Bridge - HMY36 - a humped road overbridge on Goslipgate, at the west side of Pickering. The land seen to the east of the bridge is now private with only a narrow fenced path alongside the trackbed, whereas there is a public right of way running for a fair distance west along the full width of the trackbed that is still intact through to Westgate Carr crossing.
