Hillmorton Junctions
Class 85 mixed traffic electric loco 85003 is seen approaching Hillmorton Junction, south of Rugby, along the Northampton loop line on a rake of empty flat bogie wagons in 1989. The WCML can be seen forward of the Northampton line at a lower level. The view is taken from the area of land that until a few years earlier contained Hillmorton sidings, and was fully accessible, via the track passing the former railway cottages, and was ungated and unfenced from the main line.
