Carrog
Stanier Black 5 44806 readies for departure to Llangollen from the recently re-opened Carrog Station on 6 August 1997. The loco was later sold on to the North Yorks Moors Railway, who in late 2019 had need to sell it on due to the need to gain funds to cover its 10 year overhaul; and the long delay to that starting. Work had just started on stripping down the loco, which was bought in early 2020 by Peter Best owner of USAC S160 No. 2253 ‘Omaha’, when Covid-19 lockdown came in April 2020.
