Portobello Freightliner Terminal

Cute, isn't it? Craigentinny Wheel Lathe (actually in Portobello, not Craigentinny) has this remote controlled shunter seen standing outside the shed on 23 April 2020. In the background is the quietly rusting mobile crane of the old Freightliner Terminal. There used to be two of them and I would watch their stately toings and froings from the 8th floor of Portobello High School when I wasn't paying attention to Higher Geography (or was it Spanish?). Photographed incidental to my daily exercise permitted under emergency coronavirus legislation.
