King's Road Junction

The Leith South branch is out of regular use and vegetation is encroaching. This view looks north towards the site of Kings Road Junction (See image 33091), which was more or less next to that redbrick building. The short branch from the junction went under the road to serve a far more imposing redbrick building, Portobello power station. Photographed incidental to my daily exercise permitted under emergency Coronavirus legislation.
