Ambleside Pier
'MV Tern', built in 1891 for the Furness Railway, has been operating on Windermere ever since. Seen here berthed at Ambleside Pier in March 2020, she is the oldest vessel operating on the lake and a member of the National Historic Fleet, as are two other ships in the Windermere fleet, 'Teal' and 'Swan'.
