Pages Park

Steam, electric, and diesel can be seen in this view of the current engine shed at Pages Park. The diesel is hauling a Santa Special on the right; the electric is the grey, low profile, battery loco in front of 'Doll' (centre). This railway was built using surplus materials from WW1 battlefield railways; but the rails have been upgraded from 20 lbs/yard to 45 to cope with modern passenger traffic standards. People are heavier than sand, apparently. Far be it from me to mention pies.
