Longbridge

The Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Lickey Road looking North. A car plant which could build 850,000 cars a year has been replaced, in a manner of speaking, by a hand car wash. In the distance beyond the white car, a hump in the road shows where the Halesowen Railway used to pass under the road. A station building on the left was demolished in 2012; a signal box to the right succumbed rather earlier. Oh, and that grass covered reservation - trams used to run up and down it. One day, the trams may return.
