Gorebridge
Trackbed preparation work for the Borders Railway underway at Gorebridge on 22 February 2014. View is north from Station Road. A long up loop left the Waverley route here and ran as far as the Gore Pit sidings (just around the bend) before rejoining the main line. In addition a short stub (capable of holding approximately 4 mineral wagons) terminated alongside a loading bank to the right, beyond which stood a local gas works.
