Windermere
Pacer 143611 at Windermere in 1992, six years after this new station opened replacing the old trainshed behind, which was immediately converted into part of a supermarket. Although nowadays associated with South Wales and the West of England these units were originally based at Heaton. This appears to have been a trial run or demo on the Windermere branch - certainly something of a one-off.
