The Edinburgh Christmas Market narrow gauge railway features a level crossing complete with hand bell and manually operated gates-very Victorian. OK,it does also feature colour-light signals which are housed in the black box by the gatekeeper's right hand.
There is no tunnel this year just an overbridge where the visitors' walkway crosses the track.
