Penrith

A morning view looking south from the new footbridge at Penrith as 88004 'Pandora' passes through with a Mossend to Daventry service. To the right of the now extended Carlisle platform the Down Loop can be seen snaking through the station. Further over the civil engineers' sidings can be seen. These still see regular use by plant machines and infrastructure trains.
