Erbusaig Bridge

We can imagine the reaction of the small fishing community of Erbusaig in the 1890s when the railway company told them what was going to happen to their view of the Isle of Skye and their access to the waters of the Inner Sound and Loch Carron. In this 21st June 2019 view, the bridge across the bay frames a severe crop of the original panorama as the last train of the day train for Inverness passes overhead.
