Drymen Viaduct

The modified remains of the former railway viaduct over the Endrick Water, situated half a mile north east of the village of Croftamie, Stirlingshire. Once part of the the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway, this section of the route was closed in 1950. The deck of the viaduct was subsequently removed and the piers adapted to support a water pipeline and walking route. Photographed looking north east across the river in the general direction of Gartness in October 2007.
