Portrush
Exterior of the new station building at Portrush opened in time for the 148th Open Golf Championship held at Royal Portrush. The old station building had been out of use for many years and the booking office was in the form of a Portakabin. A great transformation for a station which almost closed in the 1960s and was at one point reduced to a summer only service.
