Framlingham

Framlingham station, viewed across the old forecourt, in July 2019. The station closed to passengers in 1952 but the pick-up goods continued until 1963, latterly diesel hauled by BTH Type 1s or Brush Type 2s. After a period when it was very run down the station building has been refurbished and extended in recent years to increase the retail space of the business that occupies it. The building on the left is still a busy pub and features in old pictures of the station.
