Trimley
156422, working from Ipswich to Felixstowe, approaches the Trimley stop on 31st July 2019. The track on the left is brand new and in the distance a container train has just got underway onto the now shortened single track section to Derby Road. Prior to 2019 this would have had to wait in the North port complex until the DMU had reached Trimley. Both these tracks are now bi-directional and can be accessed from the north and south port complexes allowing even more flexibility on this busy branch.
